Northern Lights seen in Tyro, VA on May 10,2024     

     As I sit here looking at an empty post template and a blinking cursor... I'm thinking has it really been since JULY since I have posted anything?!?! I will have to bring you all up to speed.  I finished the vending season quite strong, and I feel I am now deeply rooted enough in the Shenandoah Valley that I have an actual presence out here. I am actively perusing another consignment location in Winchester. I plan to run down to Roanoke to see my friends at A Little Bit Hippy and swap stock down there this coming weekend.

     This spring, I booked the entire season at the DL Community Farmers Market run by the Dynamic Life Worship Center. It's a small local market that aims to feature farms and handmade small businesses within 50 miles of Front Royal. Funds raised by the market go to the church's benevolence fund. The market is temporarily being hosted at the Warren County Fairgrounds due to some zoning issues. The bonus for us, is when it's raining we can set up in the 4H barn! 

     So here's the new new thing....

     I've started a line of BYOC ( bring your own container) refillable products! These package free products are going to be exclusive to the farmer's market. Simply bring over any refillable container ( washed and ready to reuse) and I will tare out the weight of the container and refill it on the spot. Currently, I offer shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath, liquid hand soap, lotion, and liquid dish soap. Also I have cold process soap sticks, dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent sheets. I'm also going to be offering a once a month delivery refill service where I will come to you and fill your containers from the front porch! Details about the service are here in my store. I will accept pre-orders for that month, up until the Thursday evening before the delivery day.
